We did it!!
LHR and all our volunteers have worked incredibly hard to rehome 10,000 hens. A huge thank you to all the rehomers that went out their way to give these girls a second chance! In all we rehomed 7500 hens and the BHWT also rehomed 2500 hens!
Those who missed out, don't worry we will be in contact soon with a date from the next farm.

We are based on and currently working from a permanent premises in Norfolk with a small Linconshire collection point, and we rely on the good will of sponsors, farmers and re-homers alike.
We are currently working hard to rescue battery and barn hens.
We occasionally take in cockerels and other types of poultry such as turkeys, peafowl, quail, ducks and geese.
All homes are to be pet homes for life and our re-homed birds will remain on our data base, incase of future check-ups.
We regularly update the website with poultry needing homes, estimated rescue dates for battery hens, how many saved from factory farms and our sponsored resident hens.
